Short answer

An offer in Aventide is one service you sell, saved with its name, its price and what’s included. You save it once and reuse it. A proposal priced from an offer gets its price table written from the offer’s lines. A contract started from an offer fills in the value, deposit, scope and payment terms, and opens on the contract template the offer names. A paid booking type can charge the offer’s price, and an invoice can load its lines. An offer can also be sold as a package of sessions, paid for once on your booking page and used one booking at a time. When you ask Sidekick for a proposal, Aventide takes the price from the offer you picked rather than inventing one. Every business you run keeps its own offers, and you switch between businesses from one menu under one login.

What an offer does

Price it the way you sell it

Pick a rate type (flat, hourly, daily or a package of sessions) and an amount. Add a line for each extra service with its own price and quantity, and the Total adds them up. A line with no price still lists what's included. A one-person web business owner put the trade-off this way on Hacker News: "With fixed bid the risk and management of scope creep is on me. With hourly, on the client."

The proposal's price comes from the offer

When you write a proposal or a scope of work, Aventide asks how to price it: From an offer, Custom or Decide later. It never picks an offer for you. Choose one and the price table is built from the offer's own lines, so every figure is the one you saved. It ends with the total, the deposit ("A 50% deposit ($2,400) is due to start.") and "Plus applicable taxes." Aventide's AI writes the words around the table, and an add-on you name in your brief gets its own line.

Contracts and invoices start filled in

On a new contract, pick the offer under From offer first. It fills in the title, the contract value, the deposit, the scope of work from its lines, the payment schedule from its default terms and the duration, and opens the contract template the offer names. On an invoice, From offer loads each priced line and the terms. If your rule is the one a Hacker News commenter gave, "With new clients, they pay half up front or we don't start," set the offer's Deposit % to 50 once.

Your booking page charges the offer's price

A booking type that collects payment can take its price from an offer. Choose Full payment, then pick the offer under Price from offer, and your client pays the offer's Amount through Stripe when they book. The money goes to your own Stripe account, and Aventide adds no fee of its own. Change the offer's Amount and the next booking charges the new price.

Aventide knows what you sell

Your active offers keep What you sell in your Brand Kit up to date, unless you wrote it yourself, and Aventide's AI reads the offers of the business you're in, so a proposal for one business never borrows another's prices. The Need help pricing? link in the offer window opens Think, and you can ask Sidekick to save the offer. When a client accepts a proposal you priced by hand, a Save as offer card asks whether to keep that price.

Can an offer be a package of sessions?

Yes. In Add offer, choose Package of sessions as the rate type, set how many sessions it holds, from two to 100, and enter the price of the whole package. Then, on each booking type it should cover, answer How do clients pay? with Package only or Either, and pick the package. Your client buys it on your booking page together with their first session, and every later booking of those types uses one session until none are left. A new buyer becomes your client, with a client portal set up for booking the rest. Session packages, further down this page, covers everything from buying to refunds.

How to set up and use an offer

Add the offer

Open the Offers workstation and click Add offer. Give it a Name, pick a Rate type (flat, hourly, daily or Package of sessions, which also asks for Sessions included), enter the Amount and add a short Description. A new business starts with two example offers, Signature Package and Hourly Consulting, marked Starter, for you to edit or delete.

List what's included

Click Add item for each extra, give it a price and a quantity, and the Total is worked out for you. Set a Deposit % if you take one. Under More options, add a typical Duration, your Default terms and, if you like, one of your own contract templates for contracts to start from.

Pick it where the work starts

Choose From an offer when you write a proposal or scope of work, whether from a client's room, from Do or by asking Sidekick in Think. Choose From offer on a new contract or invoice, and Price from offer on a paid booking type. For a package, pick it under How do clients pay? on the booking type instead. Only active offers show in these lists.

Keep it current

Each offer shows where it's used, such as "Used in 2 invoices · 1 contract". Change it any time: proposals, contracts and invoices you already made keep their own figures, and a booking type priced from it charges the new price from the next booking. Switch an offer to Inactive to stop offering it for new work, or Delete it.

Session packages

How does a client buy a package?

On your booking page, a booking type linked to a package offers it for sale, and if you also sell single sessions of that type, it shows what the package saves: a 6-session package at $1,350 saves $150 against six single sessions. Your client picks a time for the first session, adds their details and pays the package price, through your own Stripe account. If the booking type asks clients to agree to your booking policy, they tick it before paying, and aren't asked again until the policy changes. Once the payment goes through, the package starts with that first session used. Your client gets a receipt with the sessions left and links to book again; you get an email, and the sale shows in your Daily Brief. If the time can't be held, the payment is refunded in full and no package is made.

How do bookings use the package?

Your client signs in on the booking page with their email: Aventide sends a six-digit code that works for 10 minutes, so there's no package code to keep. Signed in, they see their package and the sessions left, and booking a session it covers skips the payment step. Book a session in their client portal opens the booking page already signed in. If two packages could cover a session, the older one is used. A cancellation before your notice period gives the session back, and so does one you make; a rescheduled booking keeps its session. A no-show you mark keeps it used, and you can still return it. You can also book a client every week or every two weeks in one go, up to 52 dates, each using one session; dates beyond what's left aren't booked.

Where do you and your client see what's left?

In the client's room, the Packages block lists each package with what's left and what's booked, such as "3 of 6 left · 1 booked". Open one for its history in plain words: sessions bought, used, returned or kept as used, each with who did it, when and why. Your client sees the count on the booking page once signed in, in every confirmation ("This used 1 session of your 6-Session Strategy Package. 3 sessions left.") and under Your sessions in their client portal, beside their upcoming and past sessions and a Book a session button. When someone other than the holder books with a package, the holder gets an email too.

What can you change after a sale?

Everything happens in the client's Packages block, needs a short reason and stays on the package's history with your name. Add or remove sessions, count a session that was booked without the package, return a session that was kept as used, or cancel the package. For a package paid online, Refund unused sessions suggests an amount (the price divided by the sessions, times the ones unused), refunds it through Stripe and cancels the package. A package you sold another way, such as for cash or on an invoice, goes in with Add package: pick the offer, or enter a number of sessions. Editing the offer later never changes a package someone already bought.

What are the limits?

A package offer holds two to 100 sessions at one price, paid in full when the client buys it, through your own Stripe account, with no fee from Aventide. Buying always books the first session, so a client can't buy now and choose a time later yet. A package covers the booking types linked to its offer when it was bought, and any you link to that offer later. Packages don't expire. Aventide doesn't remind a client who is running low, and it has no group classes or memberships. A no-show is never charged to a card: it uses the session. Clients can't set up a weekly series themselves; you do.

What offers cost

Offers are on both plans, like every feature: Starter is $39 a month and Pro is $99 a month, each with unlimited businesses and unlimited team members. Doing things yourself never uses credits. Only the AI’s work does. Making offers and picking them on contracts, invoices and booking types is free; a proposal Aventide writes and a chat in Think use AI credits. Selling and tracking session packages is free too, and Aventide takes no fee from what clients pay for a package; you pay only Stripe’s own fees. Starter includes 40,000 credits a month and Pro 120,000.

Questions about offers and service packages

What is an offer in Aventide?

An offer is one service you sell: a name, a base amount, a line for each extra service with its own price and quantity, and an optional deposit, duration, terms and contract template. Offers are never sent to a client on their own. You pick one when you make a proposal, contract, invoice or booking type.

Can one offer in Aventide be used in a proposal and a contract?

Yes. Price a proposal from an offer and its price table comes from the offer's lines; start a contract from the offer and it fills in the value, deposit and scope. When the client accepts, Aventide offers to draft the agreement. Anything Aventide drafts for a client waits for your approval; automations you switch on run on their own.

Can I sell packages of sessions in Aventide?

Yes, since October 2026. Save the offer with Package of sessions as its rate type and choose it on the booking types it covers. Aventide then keeps count of the sessions each client has left and shows them the same number. If you also want memberships, gift certificates or a payment plan for a package, Acuity Scheduling lists all three on its Standard plan, $34 a month billed monthly (as of October 18, 2026, Acuity's pricing page).

Do my offers in Aventide show to clients?

Not on their own. There's no public page or list of your offers. A client sees an offer only through what you send or publish with it: the price table in a proposal, the contract they sign, the lines on an invoice or the price on your booking page. The Offers tab itself is only for you and your team.

Can an offer in Aventide be a monthly retainer?

Yes, though Add offer has no retainer rate type yet: it prices flat, hourly, daily or a package of sessions. Save a proposal's monthly or weekly custom price as an offer, or ask Sidekick to create one. A retainer offer shows its price per month or per week. Aventide doesn't send each month's invoice on its own; you send it.

Can each business in Aventide have its own offers?

Yes. Offers belong to the business you're in. Each business you run keeps its own list, and its proposals, contracts, invoices and booking types offer only its own. Switch businesses from one menu and the Offers list reloads for that one. Starter and Pro both include unlimited businesses, and your teammates can edit offers too.

Do session packages expire in Aventide?

No. A package lasts until its sessions are used, or until you cancel it or refund what's left; there's no expiry setting. If your own terms give clients a use-by date, the package's history in the client's room shows the day it was bought, so you can follow it up yourself.
