Zoom integration guide
Overview
Aventide’s Zoom integration creates a unique Zoom meeting for each client appointment booked through a booking type set to Zoom, and shares the join link with you and your client. No manual scheduling needed.
When a client reschedules or cancels an appointment, Aventide automatically updates or deletes the corresponding Zoom meeting on your behalf.
Adding the App
Log in to your Aventide account at app.aventide.ai.
Go to Business Hub → Integrations.
Find the Zoom card and click Connect.
You’ll be redirected to Zoom to sign in (if not already) and approve the requested permissions.
Once approved, you’ll be redirected back to Aventide with your Zoom account connected.
Troubleshooting: If the connection doesn’t complete, make sure pop-ups are allowed for app.aventide.ai, then try again. If the issue persists, contact support@aventide.ai.
Usage
Once connected:
Each new appointment booked through a booking type set to Zoom automatically creates a Zoom meeting.
The Zoom join link is included in the confirmation sent to both you and your client.
If a client reschedules, the existing Zoom meeting’s time is updated, so no duplicate meetings are created.
If a client or business cancels the appointment, the Zoom meeting is automatically deleted.
Your Zoom account’s plan limits still apply. For example, Zoom Basic (free) accounts are capped at 40 minutes per meeting.
Removing the App
Go to Business Hub → Integrations in Aventide.
Find the Zoom card and click Disconnect.
Aventide will stop creating, updating, or deleting Zoom meetings on your behalf.
Previously created Zoom meetings are not automatically deleted when you disconnect. You can remove them directly in your Zoom account if you want to.
You can also remove Aventide in your Zoom App Marketplace “Installed Apps” settings. Aventide then can’t reach your Zoom account. To have the Zoom details we stored deleted too, also disconnect Zoom in Aventide, or email support@aventide.ai.
Data Handled
Aventide reads and writes only Zoom meeting data that it itself creates on your behalf, plus your basic Zoom profile (user ID, account ID and email) to confirm which account is connected. Aventide doesn’t record Zoom meetings and doesn’t read your recordings, chats or transcripts. We store your Zoom user ID, account ID and email, an encrypted access token, and the meeting ID and join link on each booking. When you disconnect in Aventide, we delete the token and your Zoom account details; past bookings keep their meeting link. See our Privacy Policy (aventide.ai/privacy) for more.
