These Terms are a contract between your business and Second Spring Design Inc., which does business as Aventide. Please read them. They explain how paid plans renew automatically and how to cancel (section 4). They also include a binding arbitration clause and a class action waiver (section 18).
The short version
This summary helps you find your way around. The full Terms below are what count.
Aventide is for businesses, not personal use. You must be 18 or older.
Paid plans renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel online at any time.
Monthly plans are not refunded for part of a month. Annual plans run to the end of the year you paid for.
The AI can be wrong. Check its work before you rely on it. Before the AI sends anything to your clients or posts for you, it asks you to approve it.
You own your content. We don’t train AI models on it.
For your clients’ personal information, we act on your instructions under our Data Processing Addendum.
Aventide isn’t a law firm, accountant, bank or payment processor. We’re not a party to the contracts you sign with your clients.
Our liability is limited (section 16). Disputes go to individual arbitration (section 18).
1. Who we are and who these Terms cover
1.1 Us. “Aventide,” “we,” “us” and “our” mean Second Spring Design Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Aventide, 522 W Riverside Ave, Spokane, WA 99201-0580. You can reach us at support@aventide.ai.
1.2 The Service. “Aventide” or the “Service” means:
our web app at app.aventide.ai;
our website at aventide.ai;
the Aventide assistant in messaging apps;
the pages your clients use: client portals, and signing, booking and payment pages;
related services.
1.3 You. “You” means the business that creates the account, and the person who accepts these Terms for it. You agree to these Terms when you create an account, click to agree or use Aventide. If you accept for a business, you confirm you’re allowed to bind it.
1.4 If you’re a client of an Aventide customer. If you sign, book, pay or use a portal for a business that uses Aventide, your agreement about that business’s services is with that business, not with us. Use those pages only for their intended purpose. Section 8 applies to you as well. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information for that business.
2. Who can use Aventide
Business use only. Aventide is for running a business, such as a consulting practice, coaching business, studio, agency or freelance business. It is not for personal, family or household use.
18 or older. You and everyone on your account must be at least 18. Aventide is not for anyone under 18.
Accurate details. Give us true, current information when you sign up, and keep it up to date.
Where we operate. Aventide is built for businesses based in the United States. If you use it from somewhere else, you’re responsible for following your local laws. See section 6.6 about EU and UK data.
Who can’t use it. Anyone barred by US sanctions or export laws, and anyone we’ve already removed from Aventide.
3. Your account and your team
3.1 The account owner. The person who creates the account is the account owner. The account owner controls the account, including the plan and billing, who’s on the team, and closing the account. If the account owner leaves your business, contact us. Once we’ve confirmed who has authority, we’ll help move ownership.
3.2 Teammates. On paid plans, you can invite teammates. Teammates share the businesses on the account, including clients, documents, invoices, contracts, the planner and the business’s connections. Some things stay with each person:
their chats with the assistant;
the email and calendar they connect for themselves;
what Aventide remembers about how they work.
You’re responsible for what your teammates do in Aventide. You’re also responsible for removing people who should no longer have access.
3.3 More than one business. One account can hold more than one business. Each business keeps its own clients, branding and connections. Limits on the number of businesses are shown on our Pricing page.
3.4 Keep your account secure. Keep your login details safe, and don’t share logins (invite teammates instead). Keep any phone or chat app you’ve linked to Aventide secure. If you think someone has got into your account, tell us right away at support@aventide.ai. You’re responsible for activity under your account, unless it was caused by our failure to meet these Terms.
4. Plans, trial and billing
4.1 Billing. We bill through Outseta, which uses Stripe to take payment. Prices are on our Pricing page (aventide.ai/pricing) and are shown before you buy. All prices are in US dollars.
4.2 Free trial. New accounts start with a 14-day free trial. We don’t ask for a card. The trial comes with a starter amount of AI credits and the limits shown on our Pricing page. Some features, such as inviting teammates, need a paid plan. The trial does not turn into a paid plan by itself. When the 14 days are up, you’ll need to choose a paid plan to keep using Aventide. If your trial credits run out sooner, you can buy credits or choose a plan. We may limit trials to one per business and end trials that are being misused.
4.3 Automatic renewal.
Paid plans renew automatically. When you buy a Starter or Pro plan, you agree that we will charge your payment method at the start of each billing period until you cancel. That’s every month for a monthly plan and every year for an annual plan. Each charge is your plan’s price at the time of the charge, plus any applicable tax. You can cancel online at any time (section 4.4). Cancelling stops future charges, and you keep access until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
4.4 How to cancel. In the app, click your profile picture, choose Manage Account, and cancel your plan there. You can also email support@aventide.ai from the account owner’s email address, and we’ll cancel it for you and reply to confirm.
4.5 Refunds.
Monthly plans are not refunded for part of a month.
Annual plans run to the end of the year you paid for. If you need to end one early, email support@aventide.ai and we will look at it with you.
One-time credit packs are not refundable.
If we charge you in error, email support@aventide.ai and we will fix it.
The law comes first: if the law gives you a refund right that these Terms don’t, we’ll honor it.
4.6 AI credits. AI features use credits.
Plan credits: your paid plan includes an allowance of credits that refreshes every 30 days. The amount for each plan is on our Pricing page. Unused plan credits don’t carry over.
Credit packs: these are one-time purchases. Their credits don’t expire, and you can use them while your account has access (an active plan, or a trial that hasn’t ended).
Costs: the number of credits an action uses is shown in the app and may change over time.
No cash value: credits can’t be transferred or sold, and they end when your account is deleted.
Our errors: if an action fails because of a problem on our side, tell us and we’ll restore the credits.
4.7 Storage and other limits. Each plan includes a storage allowance for each business, shown on our Pricing page and in the app. Media in your marketing Library has its own allowance. When a business reaches its limit, new uploads pause until you free up space or upgrade. We may also set other reasonable limits to keep Aventide running well, such as limits that stop automated abuse.
4.8 Price changes. We may change our prices. If we raise the price of your plan, we’ll email the account owner at least 30 days before the new price applies to you. The new price starts at your first renewal after that notice period. If you don’t want to pay it, cancel before then. We never change the price of a period you’ve already paid for.
4.9 Taxes. Prices don’t include taxes. If we’re required to collect sales tax or a similar tax, we’ll add it to your charge. You’re responsible for any other taxes on your purchase, except taxes on our income.
4.10 Failed payments. If a payment fails, your access may pause until the payment goes through. Pausing access doesn’t delete your data (section 13).
5. AI features
5.1 What the AI does. Aventide uses AI to:
answer questions and help you plan;
draft documents, emails, proposals and contracts;
summarize meetings and email;
suggest next steps.
It works from the information in the business you’re working in.
5.2 The AI can be wrong. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, out of date or wrong for your situation. It can sound sure of itself and still be wrong. Review it before you rely on it or send it to anyone. Aventide’s AI doesn’t give legal, tax, financial, accounting or other professional advice. For decisions that matter, talk to a qualified professional.
5.3 It asks before acting for you. The AI asks you or a teammate to approve before it:
sends an email or message to someone outside your team;
posts to a social account;
sends a contract, invoice or payment request.
You can approve in the app, in a linked messaging app, or through an approval link we send you. Once something is approved, Aventide does what was approved. You’re responsible for what you and your teammates approve, including its content.
Some things happen without a separate approval step:
small changes inside your own workspace that you ask for in a chat, such as adding a to-do or saving a note;
things you’ve set up to run on a schedule, such as your daily brief or a scheduled document;
automatic messages you’ve turned on, such as booking confirmations, a deposit invoice that a contract is set to send when it’s signed, or the signed copy of a contract that goes to both sides.
5.4 What Aventide remembers. To be more useful, Aventide learns from your chats and activity. It saves preferences and working notes on its own, such as how you like replies written, and you can see and remove them in the app. It also keeps a short running summary of your recent work for context. That summary isn’t shown in the app yet: email support@aventide.ai for a copy or to have it cleared. It asks before it changes facts about your business, or a client’s commitments or pricing. It also asks whenever it isn’t sure who something is about.
5.5 No training on your data. We don’t use your content or your clients’ data to train AI models. The AI models behind Aventide’s assistant and drafting are Anthropic’s Claude models, served by Anthropic or, through Vercel’s AI Gateway, by Amazon Web Services (Amazon Bedrock) or Google Cloud (Vertex AI). Each processes this data only to produce results for you, under commercial terms that don’t allow it to train models on that data. Our current AI providers are listed on our sub-processor page.
5.6 Who owns AI output. As between you and us, you own the output Aventide makes for you. The same or similar output may be made for other people. We don’t promise that output is original or free of other people’s rights, so check it before you publish it.
5.7 Use AI responsibly. Follow section 8 and our AI provider’s usage policy (anthropic.com/legal/aup). Some features search the web. Web results come from other sites, and we don’t control or check them.
6. Your content and your clients’ data
6.1 You own your content. “Your content” means everything you or your team put into Aventide or connect to it, plus the output Aventide makes for you. You own it. We don’t claim ownership of it.
6.2 Permission you give us. You allow us to host, store, copy, process, send and display your content, but only as needed to:
run Aventide for you;
do what you ask, such as sending a document to a client or posting to your channel;
keep Aventide secure;
support you;
fix and improve the Service.
Our service providers (sub-processors) may do this for us. They are bound by confidentiality and security obligations. This permission ends when your content is deleted from Aventide, except for copies we keep as section 13 describes.
6.3 Your clients’ data. This covers information about your clients and contacts that you put into Aventide, including people who:
sign or accept your documents;
book with you or pay you;
fill in your forms;
email you;
join your meetings;
use your client portal.
You decide what is collected and why. For this information, we act on your behalf as your “service provider” or “processor” under US state privacy laws. Our Data Processing Addendum (aventide.ai/legal/dpa) applies to it and is part of these Terms. You’re responsible for:
having the right to collect it and to put it into Aventide;
giving people any notices, and getting any consents, the law requires (for example for marketing, recordings and e-signatures);
answering your clients’ privacy requests, with our help as the DPA describes;
what you send them through Aventide.
6.4 Sensitive information. Don’t put the following into Aventide unless a feature is built for it:
health information covered by HIPAA (we don’t sign business associate agreements);
full payment card numbers or bank logins (payments go through Stripe);
Social Security numbers or other government ID numbers;
information about children under 13.
6.5 Usage data. We collect data about how Aventide is used, such as which features are used and what they cost us to run. We use it to run, secure and improve Aventide. We may combine it with data from other customers, but only in a form that doesn’t identify you, your business, your teammates or your clients.
6.6 EU and UK data. Our Data Processing Addendum includes terms for EU and UK data protection law, but they are not in effect yet. Until we tell you they are, don’t use Aventide to handle personal data that is protected by EU or UK data protection law.
6.7 Security. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your content. Our Security page (aventide.ai/security) explains them. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a security breach that affects your content, we’ll tell you without undue delay, as the DPA and the law require. You’re responsible for:
your own settings and devices;
who you invite;
what you choose to share or make public, such as a shared document link.
7. Other services you connect
7.1 Connections are under their own terms. Aventide connects to other services, such as Google, Stripe, QuickBooks, Zoom, Meta (Facebook, Instagram, Threads and WhatsApp), LinkedIn, TikTok, Slack, Telegram, Canva and Framer. When you connect one, you let Aventide use it on your behalf as the connection screen describes. Your use of each service is governed by that provider’s own terms and privacy policy, and is between you and that provider.
7.2 We don’t control them. Other services can change, limit or switch off their features at any time, and a connected feature in Aventide may stop working as a result. We’re not responsible for those services or for what they do with your data. Their outages and changes aren’t a breach of these Terms by us.
7.3 Disconnecting. You can disconnect a service in the app at any time. Many providers also let you remove access from their side.
7.4 Google. Aventide’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Where those rules are stricter than anything else in these Terms, they win. Our Privacy Policy explains what we access and why.
7.5 Extra terms for some features. Our Additional Product Terms (aventide.ai/legal/product-terms) are part of these Terms. They cover e-signatures, payments, Smart Compliance, messaging apps, client portals and booking, emails we send for you, meeting notes, social publishing, Google services and imports.
8. Acceptable use
Use Aventide lawfully and fairly. Don’t do any of the following, and don’t let anyone else do them:
break the law, or help someone else break it;
send spam, or email or message people who haven’t agreed to hear from you where the law requires their consent;
deceive or defraud anyone, pretend to be another person or business, or send fake invoices, contracts or payment requests;
upload or share content that infringes someone’s rights, or that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, threatening or sexually exploitative;
upload malware, or try to break, overload or probe our systems (except to report a security issue in good faith, as our Security page describes);
get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, or get around our limits, credits, security or access controls;
copy, resell or reverse engineer Aventide, or use it to build a competing product, except where the law allows this despite these Terms;
scrape Aventide, or use bots to access it other than through features we provide;
use the AI to decide whether people get credit, a job, housing, insurance, education or a similarly important opportunity;
use the AI for anything our AI provider’s usage policy forbids;
record or transcribe people without the consent the law requires;
use Aventide where a failure could cause death, injury or serious physical or environmental harm.
We may remove content or limit features that break these rules (section 12).
9. Aventide’s property
9.1 What’s ours. We own Aventide, including its software, design and templates, and our names and logos. These Terms don’t give you any rights in them, except the right to use Aventide as these Terms allow.
9.2 Your right to use Aventide. While your account is in good standing, you have a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Aventide for your business.
9.3 Templates. Our contract and document templates are starting points. You may use them and change them for your business. See our Legal Templates Disclaimer (aventide.ai/legal/templates).
9.4 Feedback. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without paying you or owing you anything.
10. Copyright complaints
We respect copyright and respond to notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). If you believe content on Aventide infringes your copyright, send our copyright agent a notice that includes:
your physical or electronic signature (a typed name is fine) and your contact details;
the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
the content you say infringes it, and where it is (a link helps);
a statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn’t authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
a statement that the information in your notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you’re the owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Copyright agent: Copyright Agent, Second Spring Design Inc. (Aventide), 522 W Riverside Ave, Spokane, WA 99201-0580. Email: support@aventide.ai, with “DMCA notice” in the subject line.
If we remove your content because of a notice, we’ll tell you. If you think it was removed by mistake, you can send us a counter-notice with the information the DMCA requires (17 U.S.C. 512(g)(3)), including your consent to the jurisdiction of a US federal court. Where appropriate, we close the accounts of people who repeatedly infringe.
11. Confidentiality
Each of us may see the other’s non-public information. For you, that means your content. For us, it means things like non-public product details, pricing we offer you and security information.
Each of us will:
use the other’s confidential information only for this agreement;
protect it with reasonable care;
share it only with people and service providers who need it and who must keep it confidential.
This doesn’t apply to information that:
is public, through no fault of the one who received it;
the receiver already had, or got lawfully from someone else;
the receiver developed on its own.
If the law requires one of us to disclose confidential information, it may do so. Where the law allows, it will tell the other first.
12. Suspension and termination
12.1 You can stop at any time. You may cancel your plan at any time from Manage Account (your profile picture at the bottom of the left rail). Canceling stops future charges. Your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for; after that the app pauses until you subscribe again. Nothing is deleted: your businesses, clients, documents and data stay, and any credit packs you bought are kept.
12.2 When we may suspend. We may suspend or limit access, immediately if needed, if:
a payment is overdue;
you or your team break section 8, or put Aventide, other customers or anyone else at risk;
we must, to comply with the law or a valid legal order;
there’s a security emergency.
We’ll tell you when we do this and why, unless the law or security reasons prevent it. We’ll restore access once the problem is fixed.
12.3 When we may close your account. We may end these Terms for your account if you seriously or repeatedly break them. If the problem can be fixed, we’ll first give you 14 days to fix it after we tell you about it.
12.4 If we stop offering Aventide. We may stop offering Aventide, or a major part of it, with at least 30 days’ notice. If we do, or if we close your account without cause, we’ll refund the unused part of any prepaid annual fee.
12.5 What continues. Sections that by their nature should continue after these Terms end will continue. These include sections 4.5, 6.5, 9, 11, 13 and 15 to 21.
13. Your data when you leave
13.1 Getting a copy of your data.
While your plan or trial is active, you can download your documents, signed contracts and files from the app. After it ends, the app is paused: email support@aventide.ai from the account owner’s address and we’ll send you a copy. Invoices and payments made through your Stripe account also stay in Stripe. For a full copy of your account data in one machine-readable file (JSON), email support@aventide.ai from the account owner’s address, and we’ll send it within 30 days. The copy never includes passwords or connection tokens.
13.2 Deleting your data.
When your plan is cancelled or your trial ends, we keep your account and its data until you ask us to delete it, so you can come back. Deleting a business in the app hides it (archives it). It does not erase its data. To have your account and all its data deleted, the account owner can email support@aventide.ai from the account’s email address. We’ll confirm the request, email the account owner a reminder to download any signed agreements they want to keep, delete the account and its data within 30 days, and tell you when it’s done. Your teammates lose access too.
Signed agreements: when a contract is signed, both you and your client get a signed copy by email. When your account is deleted, our copy and its audit trail are deleted too, so download anything you need first.
Even after deletion, we may keep:
copies in our backups, until they’re overwritten in the normal backup cycle;
our own billing records, and anything else the law requires us to keep;
information we need to resolve a dispute, enforce these Terms or meet a legal obligation, for as long as that takes;
data that no longer identifies you or your clients.
14. Early-access features
Some features are labeled beta, preview or early access, or are turned on for only some accounts. These features may change, break or be removed. They’re provided as is, and we may stop them at any time.
15. Disclaimers
Aventide is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory. These include warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We also don’t promise that:
Aventide will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure;
data will never be lost;
AI output or Smart Compliance reminders will be accurate or complete.
Aventide isn’t a law firm, accounting firm, tax adviser, financial adviser, bank, money transmitter or payment processor. Using it doesn’t create an attorney-client or other professional relationship. You’re responsible for your business decisions, contracts and filings, and for your dealings and disputes with your clients.
Some places don’t allow some of these disclaimers. There, they apply as far as the law allows.
16. Limits on liability
To the fullest extent the law allows:
Neither of us is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages. Neither of us is liable for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data. This applies even if the other was told such losses were possible.
Our total liability for all claims relating to Aventide or these Terms is limited to the greater of: (a) what you paid us for Aventide in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim; and (b) US$100.
We aren’t liable for:
penalties, late fees or interest from a missed, late or wrong deadline, including in Smart Compliance;
losses from relying on AI output you didn’t check;
what you or your teammates approved;
what third-party services do.
These limits don’t apply to:
your obligation to pay us;
your obligations under section 17;
your breach of section 8, or your misuse of our intellectual property;
liability that the law doesn’t allow us to limit, such as liability for fraud or willful misconduct.
17. Indemnity
17.1 Your promise. You will defend us, and our officers, employees and contractors, against third-party claims arising from any of the following. You’ll also pay the damages, fines, settlements and reasonable legal fees that result:
your content or your clients’ data, including any claim that you didn’t have the right to use it;
your use of Aventide in breach of these Terms or the law;
your products and services, and your agreements and dealings with your clients, including contracts, invoices, payments, bookings, refunds and disputes;
messages, posts, documents or payment requests that you or your team approved or sent through Aventide.
17.2 Our promise. We will defend you against third-party claims that Aventide itself, as we provide it, infringes a US patent, copyright or trademark, or misappropriates a trade secret. We’ll pay the resulting damages, and any settlement we agree to.
This promise doesn’t cover claims caused by:
your content;
AI output;
third-party services;
changes or combinations we didn’t make;
your use of Aventide in breach of these Terms.
If such a claim happens, we may get you the right to keep using Aventide, change Aventide so it doesn’t infringe, or end your plan and refund prepaid fees for the unused time. This promise is subject to section 16.
17.3 How it works. The party asking for protection must:
tell the other party promptly;
let it control the defense and any settlement;
cooperate reasonably, at the other party’s cost.
No settlement may admit fault for the protected party, or require it to pay, without its consent.
18. Disputes
18.1 Talk to us first. Before starting arbitration, email support@aventide.ai with “Dispute” in the subject line. Describe the issue and what you want. We’ll do the same, using the account owner’s email address. Both of us will try in good faith to resolve the dispute within 30 days.
18.2 Arbitration. If we can’t resolve it, any dispute relating to Aventide or these Terms will be decided by binding individual arbitration. The American Arbitration Association (AAA) will run it under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, including its expedited procedures where they apply. There will be one arbitrator. The arbitration will take place in Delaware, or by phone or video if either of us asks. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section 18. Any court with jurisdiction can enter judgment on the award.
18.3 Fees. If the AAA filing fee you would pay is more than the fee to file the same claim in court, we’ll pay the difference. Otherwise, each side pays its own costs and lawyers, unless the arbitrator decides otherwise under the rules or the law.
18.4 Exceptions. Either of us may:
bring an individual claim in small claims court;
ask a court to stop misuse of intellectual property or confidential information, or to stop unauthorized access to Aventide.
18.5 No class actions. Disputes are resolved individually. Neither of us will bring or join a class, collective, consolidated or representative action against the other. The arbitrator can’t combine different customers’ claims. If this section 18.5 can’t be enforced for a particular claim, that claim goes to court under section 18.7, not to arbitration.
18.6 No jury. If a dispute goes to court, both of us give up the right to a jury trial, to the extent the law allows.
18.7 Governing law and courts. Delaware law governs these Terms, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any court case these Terms allow will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both of us agree to those courts’ jurisdiction.
18.8 Changes to this section. If we change this section 18, the change won’t apply to a dispute we already knew about before the change.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For an important change, we’ll update the date at the top and email the account owner at least 30 days before the change takes effect. A change needed for legal reasons, or one that only covers a new feature, can take effect sooner.
If you keep using Aventide after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you don’t agree, cancel before the change takes effect. If you’re on an annual plan, contact us and we’ll refund the unused part of that year.
20. The whole agreement
The following documents together are our whole agreement about Aventide. They replace any earlier agreements about it:
these Terms of Service;
the Additional Product Terms (aventide.ai/legal/product-terms);
the Data Processing Addendum (aventide.ai/legal/dpa) and our sub-processor list (aventide.ai/legal/subprocessors);
the Privacy Policy (aventide.ai/privacy);
the Cookie Policy (aventide.ai/cookie-policy);
the Legal Templates Disclaimer (aventide.ai/legal/templates).
If these documents conflict:
The DPA wins on personal data about your clients.
Next, the Additional Product Terms win for the features they cover.
Next, these Terms win.
If we sign a separate written agreement with you, it wins where it says it does. Terms in any order, invoice or purchase form you send us don’t apply.
21. General
Notices to you. We’ll send notices by email to the account owner’s address, or show them in the app.
Notices to us. Send notices to support@aventide.ai. Legal notices may also be mailed to 522 W Riverside Ave, Spokane, WA 99201-0580.
Electronic records. You agree that we may provide notices, receipts and agreements to you electronically.
Transfers. You may not transfer these Terms without our written consent, except to someone who buys your business; tell us if that happens. We may transfer these Terms to an affiliate, or to someone who buys our business or Aventide.
Events beyond our control. Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control. Examples are outages at providers we depend on, natural disasters, war, labor disputes and government action. This doesn’t excuse a payment.
Our relationship. We’re independent businesses. These Terms don’t create a partnership, employment or agency.
No third-party rights. These Terms are only between you and us. Your clients and other people can’t enforce them.
Export and sanctions. Follow US export control and sanctions laws. Don’t use Aventide in a country under US embargo, or for anyone on a US restricted list.
The rest. If part of these Terms can’t be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don’t enforce a term right away, we can still enforce it later. Headings are for convenience. “Including” means “including without limitation.” If there’s a translation, the English version controls.
