COMPARE
Aventide vs Dubsado
Three businesses and a team on Aventide cost what one business costs: $39 a month on Starter, with no charge per business or per person, and Sidekick, the AI in Aventide, drafts the work for your approval. Dubsado adds $10 a month for each extra brand, and includes 3 users before charging $25 a month. If your work runs on detailed forms and automated workflows, Dubsado Premier ($55 a month) is built for that. Here is how the two compare on price, payments and switching.

SHORT ANSWER
Stay with Dubsado if
You rely on detailed forms and questionnaires, and on automated workflows (Flows) that move each client through your process. Aventide has no workflow builder, and its forms are simpler than Dubsado’s.
You want a phone app for yourself. Dubsado has one; Aventide’s full app is for a desktop browser.
You run one business and want the lowest price, and you can do without scheduling and workflows: Dubsado Starter is $35 a month, $4 less than Aventide Starter.
Pick Aventide if
You run more than one business or work with a team. Neither Aventide plan adds a charge for another brand or for more people, which is where Dubsado’s price grows. Three businesses cost $39 a month on Aventide Starter and $75 a month on Dubsado Premier.
You want booking with payment without moving to a higher plan, and social posting to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Threads from the same app. Dubsado doesn’t offer social posting.
You want Aventide’s AI to draft proposals, follow-ups and invoices and wait for your approval before anything is sent.
Both offer proposals, contracts with e-signature, invoices, client portals and online payments, and neither charges a fee of its own on top of Stripe’s standard rates (Dubsado’s help center states none). The plan limits differ: Dubsado’s scheduler and public proposals are on Premier only; Aventide’s Starter has every feature. The real differences are forms and workflows, how many businesses and people you have, and what the AI does.
We make Aventide, so weigh our take accordingly. We haven't run a business on Dubsado. Prices checked on October 18, 2026 from Dubsado's own pricing page, with links. Its payment fees come from its help center.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Where Aventide and Dubsado differ
Price for one business.
Dubsado: Starter $35 a month or $335 a year; Premier $55 a month or $525 a year, as of October 2026. Source. Starter leaves out the scheduler, Flows, public proposals, Zapier and QuickBooks; those are on Premier. Aventide: Starter $39 a month or $390 a year; Pro $99 a month or $990 a year. Both Aventide plans have every feature; Pro adds AI credits (120,000 a month instead of 40,000) and storage (500 GB per business instead of 100 GB).Price for three businesses.
Dubsado charges $10 a month for each extra business, billed monthly even on a yearly plan, and each one runs on the same plan as your main business. Source. On Premier that’s $55 + $10 + $10 = $75 a month, or $525 + $240 = $765 a year. On Starter it’s $35 + $20 = $55 a month, or $335 + $240 = $575 a year, without scheduling or workflows. Aventide Starter is $39 a month or $390 a year for as many businesses as you run.Team.
Dubsado includes 3 users besides you on both plans; beyond that it lists $25 a month for 4 to 10 users, $45 for 11 to 20 and $60 for 21 to 30. Source. Aventide includes unlimited team members on both plans.Payment fees.
Dubsado Payments, powered by Stripe, charges 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards and 0.8% for bank transfers (ACH), up to $5; you can also use Square or PayPal. Source. With Aventide, clients pay by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay through your own Stripe account, and by ACH or Cash App Pay if you turn those on in Stripe. If you invoice through QuickBooks with QuickBooks Payments on, clients can also pay with PayPal or Venmo. Aventide takes 0% of any of it. On a $5,000 invoice, a card payment costs $145.30 and an ACH payment $5 either way, at Stripe’s standard US rates.Forms and workflows.
This is where Dubsado is strongest: form templates on both plans, one active lead capture form on Starter and unlimited on Premier, and Flows that run the steps of your process when clients act. Aventide has forms for your website, bookings and clients: a booking type asks one of them, and each answer stays with the booking or client it belongs to. It has no workflow builder; its automations are ones you switch on, such as booking reminders, and it drafts overdue-invoice follow-ups for your approval.AI.
Dubsado summarizes email threads and has a Notetaker that records, transcribes and summarizes meetings; its site doesn’t say which plans include them. Aventide’s AI writes rather than summarizes: give it your notes and it drafts the proposal, the follow-up or the invoice from the prices and clients saved in that business, and holds it until you approve. AI work uses credits: 40,000 a month on Starter, 120,000 on Pro, and extra packs from $10 that never expire. On your phone.
Dubsado has a mobile app. Aventide has no phone app: the full app is built for a computer, and away from your desk you message Sidekick in Telegram, WhatsApp or Slack to read a draft and approve it. Clients open portals, sign and pay on any device with both.
FEATURE BY FEATURE
What you pay extra for
A tick means the job is covered on the plan priced above. A circled dash means it is partly covered, on a higher plan or with a workaround. A cross means it is not available. Where a cell has words instead of a mark, the words say what you get. Partial marks are explained in the note under each feature.
THE OTHER SIDE
When to stay with Dubsado
Dubsado has been around since 2015 and is built around forms and workflows. Its lead capture forms and form templates are on both plans, and on Premier, Flows run the steps of your process automatically based on what clients do. It has a mobile app, connects to QuickBooks, Xero and Zapier on Premier, and its Notetaker records, transcribes and summarizes your calls. The 21-day trial gives you all of Premier with no card.
If your business runs on forms and Flows you’ve already built, or you run one business and Dubsado Starter covers what you need, Dubsado is the right fit. If you’re adding a second brand, a fourth teammate, or want booking without Premier, Aventide costs less for the same work.
Why Aventide. You want booking, proposals and every other feature without stepping up to Premier, and you don’t want to pay per brand or per person. Three businesses are $39 here and $75 on Dubsado Premier. What you give up: Dubsado’s forms and Flows. If you’ve built your business on those, stay.

QUESTIONS
Questions about Aventide and Dubsado
How much does Dubsado cost?
Dubsado Starter is $35 a month or $335 a year, and Premier $55 a month or $525 a year (as of October 18, 2026, Dubsado's pricing page). Starter leaves out scheduling and workflows. Each extra business is $10 a month, and users beyond the three included start at $25 a month. The free trial is 21 days with no card.
For comparison, Aventide Starter is $39 a month with scheduling and every other feature included, unlimited team members, and every business you run at no extra charge. Three businesses are $39 on Aventide and $75 on Dubsado Premier (checked October 18, 2026).
Is Dubsado cheaper than Aventide?
For one business on Dubsado Starter, yes: $35 a month against Aventide's $39, or $335 a year against $390 (Dubsado's prices as of October 2026). Starter doesn't include scheduling or workflows, though, and Premier ($55 a month) costs more than Aventide Starter. With three businesses, Dubsado Premier is $75 a month and Aventide Starter is $39.
Does Dubsado take a percentage of payments?
Dubsado states no fee of its own on top of processing. Dubsado Payments, powered by Stripe, charges 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards and 0.8% up to $5 for bank transfers (as of October 2026, Dubsado's help center). Aventide takes 0% of client payments; only Stripe's or QuickBooks' own fees apply.
Can I import my Dubsado data into Aventide?
Not directly yet. You can export your contacts from Dubsado as a CSV and upload them in Aventide, which brings over names, email addresses and company names. Projects, forms, workflows, invoices and contracts stay in Dubsado, so you set up your templates again in Aventide.
Does Aventide have workflows like Dubsado's Flows?
No. Aventide has no workflow builder like Dubsado’s Flows. It sends booking reminders on its own, and its AI drafts follow-ups, proposals and invoices. Anything Aventide drafts for a client waits for your approval; automations you switch on run on their own. If automated workflows are central to how you work, Dubsado Premier is the better fit; Flows are on Premier only, at $55 a month (checked October 18, 2026). Aventide's booking reminders and overdue-invoice drafts run on their own, and anything written for a client waits for your OK. That is a different model, not a workflow builder.
Can I try Aventide for free?
Yes. Aventide’s free trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. It covers up to three businesses and includes AI credits to try Aventide’s AI. Inviting teammates needs a paid plan. After the trial, Starter is $39 a month and Pro $99 a month, and both include unlimited businesses and team members.
