COMPARE
Aventide vs HoneyBook
Running more than one business, or working with a team? Aventide is $39 a month for every business you run, with unlimited team members. HoneyBook needs Premium ($129 a month) for a second company and lists no team members on Starter. If you run one business on your own and want HoneyBook's own payments, HoneyBook Starter is $36. Aventide also includes social posting and AI that drafts the work for your approval. Here is how the two compare on price, payments and switching.

SHORT ANSWER
Stay with HoneyBook if
You run one business and HoneyBook works for you.
You want the longer free trial: 30 days, no card.
You take card payments in person. HoneyBook’s phone app has Tap to Pay, so a client can tap a card or phone against yours.
Pick Aventide if
You run more than one business or work with a team. Starter and Pro both have every feature, unlimited businesses and unlimited team members. HoneyBook has no team members on Starter and keeps multiple companies for Premium ($129 a month).
You want to schedule and post to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Threads from the same app. HoneyBook doesn’t offer social posting.
You want client payments to go to your own Stripe or QuickBooks account. Aventide takes 0%; you pay only that provider’s standard fees.
You want Aventide’s AI to draft proposals, follow-ups and documents and wait for your approval before anything is sent.
Both offer proposals, contracts with e-signature, invoices, booking and client portals. The plan limits differ: HoneyBook Starter allows one scheduler session type and no team members, and HoneyBook processes the payments itself. Aventide’s Starter has every feature. The real differences are how many businesses you run, who processes your payments and what the AI does.
We make Aventide, so weigh our take accordingly. We tested HoneyBook with demo businesses; we haven't run a business on it. Prices checked on October 18, 2026 from HoneyBook's own pricing page, with links.
WHAT TO LOOK FOR
Where Aventide and HoneyBook differ
More than one business.

Both have AI. Aventide’s Sidekick drafts proposals, follow-ups and documents from your saved business details, and anything written for a client waits for your approval before it’s sent.Price.

FEATURE BY FEATURE
What you pay extra for
A tick means the job is covered on the plan priced above. A circled dash means it is partly covered, on a higher plan or with a workaround. A cross means it is not available. Where a cell has words instead of a mark, the words say what you get. Partial marks are explained in the note under each feature.
THE OTHER SIDE
When to stay with HoneyBook
HoneyBook is a good product. In our testing it kept tidy client records, its contract editor is pleasant to use, and its pipeline view makes it easy to see where each lead stands. It has a 30-day free trial, a ChatGPT app, and Tap to Pay in its phone app for taking card payments in person.
If you run one business, don’t mind HoneyBook processing your payments, and don’t need social posting or a teammate on the lowest plan, stay. If any of those changes, the import is ready.
Why Aventide. You run more than one business or work with a team, and you want every feature on the plan you pay for. Three businesses are $39 a month here and $129 on HoneyBook. Clients pay through your own Stripe account, so Aventide takes 0%. Sidekick drafts the work and waits for your OK. What you give up: HoneyBook’s phone app with Tap to Pay and its 30-day trial. Your HoneyBook clients and projects come with you.

How we compared
HoneyBook's prices, plan limits and payment fees come from its pricing page, payments page and help center. The pricing page was read on October 18, 2026; the payments page and help center on October 3, 2026. Where HoneyBook's own pages disagree, as they do on Premium team size, we say so. Aventide's prices come from our pricing page and what we describe matches the product. We recheck this page every month.

NEXT STEP
Switching from HoneyBook
The Switch Kit does the move: connect HoneyBook, check the preview, confirm, and your contacts, projects, notes, past messages and invoice and contract history are in Aventide, with nothing saved until you confirm. What comes over and what stays behind is listed in the questions below and on how the HoneyBook import works. Before you cancel HoneyBook, connect your Stripe or QuickBooks account and your calendar in Aventide, collect open invoices, and download any signed contracts you want to keep.
QUESTIONS
Questions about switching
Does the HoneyBook import bring everything into Aventide?
No. The Switch Kit brings over contacts, clients with their pipeline stage, projects, tasks, notes and past emails and texts, plus invoice and contract history as read-only records marked HoneyBook. Questionnaires (being built), templates, workflows, file attachments, the invoice and contract documents themselves, and open payments stay in HoneyBook.
What happens to contracts signed in HoneyBook when I move to Aventide?
They stay in HoneyBook. The Switch Kit brings over each contract's history: who signed, you and your client, and when, read-only and marked HoneyBook. The signed documents themselves don't come over, so download any you want to keep before you cancel. New contracts are drafted, sent and signed in Aventide.
What is an AI credit in Aventide?
A credit is how Aventide counts AI work, such as a drafted proposal or follow-up, or an answer from Sidekick. Doing things yourself never uses credits. Only the AI’s work does. Starter includes 40,000 credits a month and Pro 120,000. Extra packs start at $10 for 10,000 credits and never expire.
How credits work and the top-up packs are explained on Aventide pricing.
Do team members cost extra in Aventide?
No. Starter ($39 a month) and Pro ($99 a month) both include unlimited team members, so an associate, a subcontractor or an admin can join without changing your bill. Inviting teammates needs a paid plan. Team access covers the whole account, so everyone you invite can open every business in it.
Both plans and what each includes are listed on Aventide pricing.
Does HoneyBook take a percentage of payments?
HoneyBook's cut is its processing fee, since it processes client payments itself. As of October 18, 2026, its pricing page shows card fees from 2.7% + 10¢ and, in its plan table, 2.9% + 25¢, plus 1.5% on bank transfers with no cap stated. Aventide takes 0% of client payments; only Stripe's or QuickBooks' own fees apply.
Can I try Aventide for free?
Yes. Aventide’s free trial lasts 14 days and needs no card. It covers up to three businesses and includes AI credits to try Aventide’s AI. Inviting teammates needs a paid plan. After the trial, Starter is $39 a month and Pro $99 a month, and both include unlimited businesses and team members.
