Proposals

Proposal software that shows you the price before it writes

Aventide's proposal software turns one sentence about what you sell, and the price you pick, into a client proposal. Aventide shows you the outline and the price first. Then the proposal is written in your logo, colors and fonts, and your client reads it online and accepts it.

Short answer

Aventide writes client proposals from a short brief. Tell Sidekick what you sell in one sentence and how it’s priced: from one of your offers, a custom price or decide later. Aventide shows you an outline with the price first, and nothing is written until you confirm it. The proposal then comes out in your logo, colors and fonts, with your exact figures in a price table built by code. Your client reads it online and accepts it. Their accept can draft the contract and, once they sign, the deposit invoice, each waiting for your approval.

What Aventide's proposals do

The outline and the price come first

Before a word is written, you see the plan: the sections in order with what each covers, any add-ons and milestones, and the price with every line, the total, the deposit and "Plus applicable taxes." Move a section, rename it or add a line, then click Looks right, create. One consultant lost a deal over an AI draft that, in her words, "had the right scope and the right numbers, but it had lost the specific detail she'd given me on the call". The outline is where that detail goes in.

Your figures, exactly as you set them

The AI doesn't write the price table. Code builds it from the price you chose: your offer's own lines, your custom amount with its billing and deposit, or "Pricing to be confirmed" if you picked Decide later. An add-on you give a figure gets its own line, and a monthly fee is never added into a one-time total. Want to give your client a choice? Name two or three options in your brief, or click Add an option in the outline or in Edit price, each with its own name, price, deposit and what it includes. Your client picks one when they accept.

In your logo, colors and fonts

Every proposal is laid out with your Brand Kit: your logo at the top, your colors, and your heading and body fonts. Each business you run keeps its own Brand Kit, so a proposal for one never wears another's look. Before you share one, the Brand Kit needs a logo, two colors, both fonts and your business name.

An online yes, then the next steps

Your client opens the proposal on a phone or a computer, clicks Accept proposal and types their name, or declines and tells you why. You see when they first open it. One business owner on Hacker News listed what fills the time between a call and a deal: "I spend a lot of time on administrative sales tasks (chasing people for meetings, writing proposals, negotiating contracts)." In Aventide, the accept queues a draft agreement for your approval.

How to write a proposal in Aventide

Ask for a proposal

In Think, ask Sidekick: "Write a proposal for Harbor Coffee Roasters' brand identity." Or, in the client's room, click New document on the Documents card. Pick the Proposal template, then how it's priced: From an offer, Custom (amount, billing, deposit and what the price covers) or Decide later. Put your call notes in the brief, in your own words.

Check the outline and the price

Before anything is written, Sidekick shows the outline and asks "Does this look right? In this order?" Change a section, an add-on or a milestone. In the client's room, click Looks right, create. In Think, say yes, then approve the card that names the client, the template and the price.

Read it, then share it

The finished proposal is saved in your Workspace, or in the client's room when it's for a client. Read it and change any line you like. When it reads right, share it with your client. If your Brand Kit is missing a logo, a color or a font, Aventide tells you which one before you share.

Approve what comes next

When your client accepts, a card on your Daily Brief and in Approvals asks whether to draft the agreement, filled in with the client, the price and a contract template. If you priced it by hand, a second card offers to save that price as an offer. Anything Aventide drafts for a client waits for your approval; automations you switch on run on their own.

What proposals cost

Proposals are on both plans, like every feature: Starter is $39 a month and Pro is $99 a month, each with unlimited businesses and unlimited team members. Doing things yourself never uses credits. Only the AI’s work does. A proposal Aventide writes uses 150 AI credits, the price of one generated document; the outline before it is free, and asking in Think uses credits for each message. Editing, sharing and your client’s accept cost nothing. Starter includes 40,000 credits a month and Pro 120,000.

Questions about proposal software

Does Aventide's AI invent prices in proposals?

No. The price table is built from the price you chose, never written by the AI: your offer's own lines, your custom figure or, with Decide later, "Pricing to be confirmed". An add-on gets a line only with a figure you gave. When Aventide's AI lacks a detail, it says so plainly or leaves it out.

Can a client accept a proposal online in Aventide?

Yes. Your client reads the proposal online, on a phone or a computer, in your branding. They click Accept proposal, type their name and confirm, or decline and say why. You see when they first open it. Accepting is a yes to the proposal, not an e-signature; the signature goes on the contract that follows.

What happens after a client accepts a proposal in Aventide?

Aventide offers to draft the agreement, with the client, the price and a contract template filled in, and, for a price you set by hand, to save it as a reusable offer. You countersign the contract before it goes out. Anything Aventide drafts for a client waits for your approval; automations you switch on run on their own.

Which proposal templates does Aventide have?

Five, and Aventide asks which one every time: One-pager, Proposal, Scope of work, Welcome note and Project recap. Only Proposal and Scope of work ask about the price. There's no separate web design proposal template: pick Proposal and put the pages, features and revision rounds in your brief, which can add up to four sections of its own.

How do I write a proposal in Aventide?

Pick the Proposal template, choose how it's priced (from an offer, a custom price or decide later) and write a short brief. Aventide shows an outline to confirm, then writes the proposal in your branding, with the price table built from your figures. Do I still need dedicated proposal software like Proposify with Aventide?

Maybe, if a sales team sends many proposals. Proposify's Build plan includes a content library, document insights and integrations, at $420 per user a year or $147 per user a quarter (as of October 18, 2026, Proposify's pricing page). If you send proposals to your own clients, Aventide keeps them beside your contracts and invoices on the same plan.

We make Aventide, so weigh our take accordingly.
