Short answer

The Daily Brief is one message a day that tells you what needs you, in every business you follow. Sidekick sends it to Telegram, WhatsApp or Slack at your chosen time, on weekdays or every day, and you can open it in the app on your computer. It lists today’s bookings, meetings and to-dos, drafts waiting for your approval with a Review link each, overdue invoices, clients who’ve gone quiet, and how many messages wait in your inbox. Each person on your team gets their own, and your calendar and mail stay yours. It’s put together from your own records with no AI call, so it uses no credits.

What the Daily Brief shows you

One message, a section for each business

You get one brief a day at your time, with a section for each business you follow, the one you last had open first. Each business's "today" uses its own time zone, and a business with nothing for you shrinks to one line. The brief gathers what's due across your Aventide businesses into one message, so the morning starts in one place instead of a row of tabs.

Drafts wait as cards you approve

Needs your attention lists what Aventide drafted for you to check, such as a payment reminder for an overdue invoice or a deposit invoice after a client signs. Each is one line with a Review link that opens the full draft, already written and waiting for your OK.

Today, and what only you can clear

Today lists your bookings, the meetings on your own Google Calendar and your to-dos. Needs your attention also flags what only you can deal with: an overdue invoice, a client who has gone quiet, a renewal coming up, a booking nobody confirmed. Updates covers new or cancelled bookings and proposals viewed, then Changed since yesterday and a money summary.

Yours, even on a team

Each person gets their own brief, at their own time, on the chat apps they connected. Yours shows your drafts, to-dos and bookings plus unassigned ones, your own Google Calendar and your inbox count, so a teammate's brief never shows your meetings or your mail. Money, goals and alerts are the same for everyone, and each person follows the businesses they choose.

How to get your Daily Brief each morning

Choose your time and channel

In the Sidekick panel, connect Telegram, WhatsApp or Slack with the QR code and one-time code. Open your brief from the clipboard icon in the Business Hub, turn on Send to Sidekick, and click the time next to it. One brief comes straight away so you can see it. It goes to every chat app you've connected.

Follow the businesses you want

You start with the businesses you created, and a new teammate starts with the company's first business. To add or leave one, switch to it, open Chat, click Do, then Routines, and turn Daily Brief delivery on or off. Delivery settings there set your time, and weekdays or every day.

Read it

At your time, one message arrives: a headline with the count of must-dos and drafts, then a section per business. Read Today, then Needs your attention. Reply in the same chat to ask Sidekick about anything in it, such as "Which invoices are overdue at Lumen & Oak?"

Approve what's drafted

Tap Review next to a draft, or Follow up next to an overdue invoice. It opens the review card on your phone, without signing in. Read the draft, change what you want, then Approve, or leave it for later. Approve sends the version you saw. Back in the app, the same draft sits in your Approvals.

What the Daily Brief costs

The Daily Brief is on both plans, like every feature: Starter is $39 a month and Pro is $99 a month, each with unlimited businesses and unlimited team members. The brief itself uses no credits: it's put together from your own records, with no AI call. Doing things yourself never uses credits. Only the AI's work does, so asking Sidekick to rewrite a draft or replying to chat about the brief uses AI credits. Starter includes 40,000 credits a month and Pro 120,000. The brief stops if a trial ends or a subscription isn't active.

Questions about the Daily Brief

Where does Aventide's Daily Brief arrive?

In Telegram, WhatsApp or Slack, sent by Sidekick at the time you choose, on weekdays or every day. It goes to every chat app you've connected, and it doesn't come by email. On your computer, the clipboard icon at the top right of the Business Hub opens the brief for the business you're in.

Does Aventide's Daily Brief send anything to my clients by itself?

No. The Daily Brief goes only to you. Anything Aventide drafts for a client waits for your approval; automations you switch on run on their own. In the brief, each draft is one line with a Review link, and it stays a draft until you open it and approve it.

Can each person on my team get their own Daily Brief?

Yes. A new teammate starts with the company's first business, picks their own time and chat app, and follows or leaves any business from its Routines; the brief they get is built for them. Their drafts, to-dos, bookings, Google Calendar and inbox count are their own; nobody sees another person's meetings or mail. Teammates come with a paid plan: Starter and Pro both include unlimited team members.

Can I turn off Aventide's Daily Brief?

Yes. Sidekick sends the brief to your chat apps, and switching off Send to Sidekick in your brief stops it. To drop one business from it, switch to that business, open Chat, go to Do and then Routines, and switch its delivery off; the others keep arriving. You can still open any business's brief in the app.

Can I choose what goes in Aventide's Daily Brief?

Not yet. Every brief has the same sections: Today, Needs your attention, Updates, Changed since yesterday and a money summary. A section with nothing in it is left out, and a quiet business takes one line. You choose the businesses it covers, the time, and weekdays or every day.

Why does Aventide start your day with a brief?

Most mornings you need to know what needs you today, not every number in every tool. The brief lists only that, with a draft ready for the work Aventide could do for you. We wrote about why we built it first in our blog post, Why we start with a brief.
